Thankfully, we don’t experience too much ASB in Brookwood and the immediate surroundings. However we do occasionally experience pockets of it on Sheet’s Heath recreational ground and (predictably) under the station car park.
Having had a chat with Woking Borough Council ASB officers, the Police and British Transport Police, the message is clear, they all require intelligence and that requires reporting and diaries to be kept. If you experience or are affected by ASB, please report it and diarise it for future reference.
Contact the Police on 101, and text the British Transport Police on 61016. In an emergency, obviously call 999.
The BTP need a few details, for example, texting ‘People vandalising cars at Brookwood station’ would enable their officers to quickly respond. Officers are roaming the area (thankfully they don’t rely on the trains), and can respond quite quickly.
We’ll never stop ASB, but we can help make our own lives easier and more peaceful.
